Bita Psychology: Martin St, Belgrave Practice Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis

Located in the heart of Belgrave, my psychology consulting rooms offers a tranquil space tailored to invite individuals facing various life challenges. The Belgrave location provides the serenity of the Dandenong Ranges, making it an ideal setting for therapeutic work. My approach integrates psychoanalytic and psychodynamic techniques, enriched by years of experience, to address each person's unique needs with understanding and consideration.

Nestled in Belgrave, my practice offers more than just accessibility to psychological care; it brings the benefits of psychoanalytic and psychodynamic treatment (traditionally centered in Melbourne's CBD) now closer to those in the Dandenong Ranges and surrounding areas. With a foundation in Lacanian psychoanalysis and clinical experience in treating complex issues, Bita Riazati is committed to providing a truly individualized approach that uncovers the sources of suffering, beyond just managing symptoms.

Bringing Psychoanalytic Treatment to Belgrave

Unlike traditional therapy models that prioritise symptom reduction alone, psychoanalytic treatment nurtures a safe space for you to speak freely. This approach enables unconscious processes and underlying conflicts, often at the root of anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties, to emerge and be worked on in our sessions. My approach integrates Lacanian psychoanalytic principles with a keen sensitivity to individual suffering, allowing us to work through layers of experience and meaning together. This journey can lead to a more thorough and lasting shift in how you relate to yourself, others, and life's challenges. By bringing this specialized practice to Belgrave, I aim to create an accessible option for those who may otherwise face long commutes to access psychotherapy.

Accessible Psychoanalytic Therapy Outside the CBD
In addition to my professional expertise, the Belgrave location itself offers unique therapeutic benefits. Surrounded by the quiet natural beauty of the Dandenong Ranges, my practice provides a tranquil environment that complements the reflective and introspective work inherent in psychoanalytic treatment. This setting supports individuals seeking a quieter, more contemplative space to speak about their thoughts, fantasies, dream and daily challenges without distraction.
